Prof. Dr. Khadga KC stands at the helm of Nepal's oldest and most prestigious academic institution, Tribhuvan University, serving as its Rector. A distinguished scholar with profound expertise in International Relations, Geopolitics, and Nepal's Foreign Policy, his appointment marks a significant milestone in his long and dedicated career in academia.
Hailing from Modi-5, Bajung in the Parbat district, Dr. KC's journey is a testament to academic perseverance and excellence. He completed his Master's Degree and later earned his Ph.D. from Tribhuvan University, focusing his research on critical areas of international relations that have shaped his scholarly contributions.
Dr. KC has dedicated over thirty years of his professional life to Tribhuvan University. Before his appointment as Rector, he served as the Head of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy (DIRD) at TU. In this role, he was instrumental in developing the department into a center of excellence for foreign policy studies, mentoring countless students who now serve in diplomatic and academic fields. His teaching and research have consistently focused on South Asian security, regional cooperation, and the dynamics of Nepal-India and Nepal-China relations.
